Ultimate Fitness Training

http://www.myspace.com/ultimatefitnesstraining

1) Tell the ppl about your training?

Well first of all my name is Kevin Gauthier I have been a certified fitness trainer since 2003. I have a personal training service called ULTIMATE FITNESS TRAINING. I specialize in training that has a martial arts edge to it. Being a big mma fan and practitioner I believe the benefits of martial arts is huge. I offer personal training services in home, gym, and online.

2) What made you branch off to your own?

Well with pitbull fighting systems we train strictly on mma. I wanted to take my expertise as a personal trainer and train clients for general conditioning and weight loss also. I..ve found a lot of people love martial arts and the benefits physically and mentally it provides, but just can..t afford a broken nose or serious injury that can easily happen when training full contact mma.

3) Why do you think a personal trainer is better then just a trainer?

A Personal trainer is great! Everyone can benefit from one. To be able to have someone there to push you to your limit, And be a positive influence and help you achieve your goals is priceless. I can..t say a trainer is any different. Anyone that is there to help you is always a good thing.

4) Tell the ppl about online training?

Online training is great in many ways. Let me give you some benefits. 1.If you are always in a crunch for time and can..t make it to the gym I design programs that you can do in a short amount of time and require next to no equipment. 2. If you are intimidated of muscle bound punks or crowds in the gym you can train with me right from your computer. 3. My programs online cost less per month than one training session with most trainers or gym memberships. 4. I also give you a nutrition plan that gives you a food-by-food breakdown of everything that you need to eat to reach your goals sent to your email!
5. You have unlimited amount of access to me by email and there is sections on the site that you can document your exercise and keep a daily food log so that we can keep track of your progress and eating habits. One more thing , I offer all the benefits of my online training services FREE to my in person clients.

5) What things do you focus on when training someone?

Focus on what you are doing. When your mind is on something else you just don..t get the results. Safety is big I want my clients to get the best workout possible but stay away from injury. Always stay positive know that you might not always like what you see in the mirror but by hard work and dedication you can change. You always have the power to change what you don..t like about yourself. That is huge!

6) What would you tell ppl to do b4 they contact you?

Think about what you want from your training. What do you want to accomplish?, what are your goals?. You have to be able to devote a reasonable amount of time to your program. Be prepared for a lifestyle change and not a quick fix. Know that exercise can be fun and by getting in great shape makes your whole life better. Don..t put it off any longer start your new way of life today.

7) One place youd rather be is?

North Carolina.
8) What type of ppl do you enjoy training?

Any one that gives it there all. When I train with some of my team members and I see some of them don..t have anything left in the tank, and they just pull that energy and determination form there heart to finish. That gives me chills.

9) Name the best fight of the yr in your opinion?

Hughes VS Gracie

10) What 3 things Do you tell ppl to focus on when your training someone?

I think I answered this one in question 5

11) How would you tell someone that they aren..t cut out to be a fighter?

Some people are fighters some just aren..t.

12) What are your thoughts on the blow up of the MMA today in the USA?

I love it and it is great that so many people are getting into martial arts.

13) What is one thing you have never gotten for X-Mas that you want?

Chris “Bang Bang” Smith

http://www.myspace.com/cjsmmabadboy

1) What got you into MMA?

Like most people, it was after watching the early UFC’s. Seeing a little guy (Royce) beating guys who outweighed him by so much was amazing. And I..ll never forget the sight of Keith Hackney punching Joe Son in the balls about 8 times, ha! Unfortunately, there was nothing like that over here at the time, and it wasn’t until about 8 years ago that i got to train.

2) Who are you sponcers?

I don’t have any sponsors yet, but i have had an offer from FIGHT FREEK clothing, although they seem to have gotten quiet now.

3) When is your next fight?

My next fight will be in the new year, but i don’t have any dates yet. At least i get to drink & eat lots over xmas!

4) What is your training schedual like?

At the moment, i’m training 4 times a week purely MMA, i run a MMA class on Monday nights and i’ll do some circuits/fitness work in between. Leading up to a fight, i step it up a level & hit the weights.

5) Howd you get the nick Bang Bang?

Started as a joke with a guy at work when he found out i fight, and i kind of like it so it stuck!

6) What the one place you would love to train and havent yet?

Used to be Brazil, as my roots are in BJJ, but the thought of training up at Big Bear with Tito would be awesome.

7) What is your signature move?

Probably arm-bar from guard, although i’m known for my leg-locks.
8) Tell us some thing embarassing that has happend to you?

I once spent the whole night slagging off James Thompson (Pride FC) saying how shit he is, and he’s a dick head etc. Turns out his girlfriend was sat right in front of me and heard everything! He is shit but hes 6ft 4 and 250ib.

9) What is your diet like when about to fight?

I just try and cut out all the junk food, no beers obviously and eat light on the day of the weigh in.
I never cut weight because i fight at my true weight.

10) What are your thoughts on the blow up of MMA in the US today?

It’s awesome, and i hope it continues as i think it will.
We can only hope that it blows up as big here in the UK.

11) What fight in your opinion was the best of the year this far?

GSP vs BJ Penn was a good one for me. The whole atmosphere was amazing, with Penn walking out with the belt! It was a battle! Hughes and Gracie was good too, kind of like passing the torch to the new generation.

12) Who do you see winning Tito or Liddell and GSP or Huges?

I..d like to see Tito win but it..s a long shot. He needs to bring his ..A.. game, and catch Chuck on a bad day, which you never really see Chuck on a bad day.
I think GSP might take this one.

13)Tell us about your fav fight what made it your fav?

Way too many to pick a definite favourite, but I like most of Tito..s fights because of the atmosphere surrounding them, with the dramatic entrances. Royce vs Dan Severn was good..yeah there..s way too many ha, ha. Thanks.
