1) What got you into watchin MMA?

well i actually started doing martial arts when i was 12 years old.. i was a 3rd degree black belt in tae kwon do and also did 6 years of kickboxing.. and when i first saw the ufc back in 93 i just got hooked.

2) Have you been to live events?

no none have come close to me.. but i was supposed to go see tito ortiz and chuck liddell when they first rumored it for super bowl weekend… but now im gonna go see ufc 68 in march cause my wifes favorite fighter is supposed to be fighting.

3) Who is your fav fighter and your wifes?

my favorite fighter is the iceman chuck liddell.. heather’s favorite fighter is rich”ace” franklin

4) What are your thoughts on the blow up of MMA today in the US?

awesome!!! i just wish it got more love from espn… instead they wanna show a hot dog eating contest.. what kind of shit is that??

5) What other sports are you into? Fav teams?

football, my favorite team is the denver broncos.. i watch basketball from time to time and i like the miami heat.. really dont get into much baseball

6) What type of music are you into?

all kinds except country never got into country music.

7) What would be your pick for fight of the yr?

hopefully it will be chuck vs tito…
Where is the one place youd rather be right now?

las vegas, casino’s and warmer weather then here and no temps that are below zero

9) Who is the one person youd like to get into the cage with and just spar?

chuck liddell

10) Does your friends and family understand why you enjoy MMA so?

my friends are really big into wrestling.. some of my friends will talk about mma but they dont know what the hell they are talking about half the time very funny though.. and my family just calls me obsessed{my wife} lol .but she enjoys it too

11) What fight that has happend all ready would you love to go back in time and watch live?

mirko cro cop kicking wanderlei silva’s head off his shoulders lol

12) What is the one thing you have always asked for X-mas and never got?

a new camaro when i was younger

13) Who do you think deserves a fight in the UFC?

i would have to say matt lindland deserves another shot in the ufc… i think he could take out anderson silva

1. How did BEAT2SLEEP get started?
Been saying it for years. Watched Drew Fickett knock out someone and said it again. My girl friend told me to make a clothing company out of the name. And the rest as they say . . . is history.

2. Who are you currently sponsoring? And who have you sponsored?
Working on several UFC fighters currently, but have local pro fighters such as Kyle Bradley, JC Pennington, Tim Creduer, Brandon Brewer to name a few.

3. How does one get your company to become a sponsor?

6. What makes your MMA clothing different than others?
The name alone says it all. It’s for people and fighters that want something different than the same ole same ole. My fight shorts are raved about. My unique ideas are complimented. I don’t cut quality to cut cost. The highest quality clothes.

7. What MMA events in the future will we find BEAT2SLEEP merchandise?
All your southern events and UFC 66 December 30th. Beat2sleeP will be in Vegas!!!!

8. Who are your idols in the MMA world?
Idols? I don’t have”idols” except one and he isn’t in the MMA world. I have people I like in the MMA world.

9. Who do you think will hold the belt after UFC66? Ortiz or Liddell?
The Huntington Beach Bad Boy. As much as I like The Iceman, times they are a changing. Tito is focused.

10. With the rapid growth in the MMA world, where do you see BEAT2SLEEP in two years? A household name. But like I said, its gonna take fighters that stand up for themselves and quit going with the flow. How easy is it to wear what just about every other fighter you see is wearing. Jesus that is lame. Sure TapouT has been around forever, Full Contact Fighter…well that’s what they do but come on…do something different. Hell, I am. That’s what Beat2sleeP is about. Punishment. No one wants to see anyone submit anymore. It’s boring. Much skill but boring frankly. But Beat2sleeP is on the map and in 2 years will be much much more.

11. Why MMA clothing?
Because I have been involved with MMA since 1993 and it’s what I know and love. Boxing is dead. I have always had something for clothing so I put the 2 together with something I’ve been either saying, doing or having done to me! HA HA HA HA HA!

12. Did you expect BEAT2SLEEP to be what it is today?
I actually expected much more. I set my sights HIGH.

13. What can MMA fans expect in the future from BEAT2SLEEP?
Kick Ass clothes! True fighter support.
